Towanda is devoted wife and mother of 2 girls, she was born and raised in Newark, NJ. SOS is a vision that was given to her by the Creator, It is her purpose, her passion, her life. During her journey to discovering purpose for her life and supporting and encouraging many women over the years, she has discovered purpose in life; helping people to see the roadway of life and walk down the path they were destined for and help them discover purpose, live their dreams and fulfill their destiny.
Her entire life has been preparation for this moment, this mission. To know the very thing you were created for is Freedom. To live and walk in it is "Ultimate Freedom." She considers her life not her own. She freely gives it to be of service to her family and those who cross her path. "Let the Healing begin."

Towanda has received a Proclamation from the NJ State Assembly commending her for the work she is doing with Supporting Our Sisters, she was just recently one of the recipients of the 2011 Women Making a Difference in her community Award given by the Newark City Council. Towanda also received the Ruby Award from Soroptimist International, a premier womens' organization who recognizes women who are truly making a difference in the lives of women and teenage girls. Towanda has also received numerous awards from various community organizations.

Shelly Bell, President- Youth Division
Shelly L. Bell visionary, entrepreneur, and trailblazer, has devoted her life to leadership and empowering women and girls. From humble beginnings, she has forged an impressive career of professional accomplishments and civic contributions, earning credibility in business, government, and non-profits locally and nationally.
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Shelly’s passion for education and ambitious goals for the future led her to continue her educational pursuits with a M.A. in Religious Education, graduating from Eastern Bible Seminary. Shelly’s contributions have not gone unnoticed as she received a Proclamation from The New Jersey State Legislature for the work she has done in the community during Women’s History Month. Shelly has also received numerous awards from various community and faith-based organizations.
Shelly has expanded her borders by partnering with Supporting Our Sisters, Inc. a non-profit organization whose mission is to help women and teen girls, develop into wise and confident individuals.
Ms. Bell, a regularly sought after speaker on women’s & teen issues captivates her audiences through vigor and sheer beauty with words and actions continue to stir our souls, energize our bodies, liberate our minds, and heal our hearts.
